I have been teaching for a very long time, both here in the UK and abroad in some fantastic international schools. I love teaching and watching the progress my students make and celebrate their successes. Lessons are tailored to each individual student from the very young just setting out on their learning journey to the Year 6 student who wants to improve their English writing, reading, vocabulary and yes …. boring grammar, but I try to make it fun! Activities are hands on with games, puzzles and where appropriate interactive. Older students can decide what they would like to concentrate on, what they find difficult and need help with. I like to get to know my students so can plan my lessons around each one’s passions and interest. If you are a budding footballer then let’s use that as a springboard to success. If you are a musician, a dancer, a gamer then let’s build on those interests together!

If maths is where you need some help, then lessons need to be interesting and engaging but at the same time need to consolidate maths rules and give time for practice. A firm foundation will lead to success and hopefully a love of maths.
