I have been in two English speaking country for past 9 years, so I know how English is important in such countries

I love to make students realize their fullest potential and put that to best use through innovative actions, teamwork, collaboration, and to make learning more enjoyable, practical in ways which they can remember it for their lifetime .Learning, exploring Biology has been my passion and I have diligently done it and have enriched student’s knowledge. Teaching biology enthusiastically just comes naturally to me. As a teacher, I am student focused.
Prior to my post graduation, I worked as a biology teacher in an Anglo Indian higher secondary school responsible for students from grade 6-10. Although it was my first time as teacher the experience was interesting. I was involved in teaching biology, conducting exams, assisting lab experiments and after school tutoring. My responsibility as teacher was to identify, solve problems constructively, create an environment where students are made to think critically and creatively.
With this experience I started taking independent home tuitions for children from age 6-16 from various cultural community and economical background. I taught children all the subjects including English. I helped children whose parents didn't have any knowledge in English. Now with all these experiences I have developed my ways of teaching strategies, certain method and technologies used for teaching like google classroom, zoom, google-meet, I-clickers. I feel that one of my strengths as an instructor is my ability to sum things up using simple analogies to help students stay focused on the main points.
My teaching methodology includes following the given syllabus, creating a weekly schedule, methods of conducting exam and evaluation of each student, giving space for students to interact positively and respect for others, to think creatively, independently and strategies for problem solving. Though, I feel new technological methods have developed in recent time direct interaction between the students and mentor is particularly important to ask students for help and for better learning. I will continue to grow my skills and knowledge by teaching our young future scientist of our world.
