Maths Tutor | Primary to A Level

I am a Maths tutor specialising in GCSE and A-Level, with a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bristol. Having achieved A* in both Maths and Further Maths at A-Level, I have a strong understanding of the subject as well as the exam technique required to achieve top grades.

My teaching focuses on building a deep understanding of core concepts, enabling students to confidently tackle a wide range of questions rather than relying on memorised methods. This approach not only improves exam performance but also develops long-term problem-solving skills valuable for future study and careers in STEM.

I have applied this approach successfully with several students, all of whom achieved grade 7 and above in GCSE Maths, alongside improved confidence in their abilities.

Students can expect structured, well-planned lessons with clear objectives. I begin by identifying strengths and weaknesses through an initial assessment, allowing me to tailor lessons to each student’s needs. As lessons progress, I continuously adapt my teaching style to ensure it is as effective and engaging as possible.
