Advert description
Hello! I'm a 1st class Physics graduate from Lancaster University, with a master's in Physics and Engineering in Medicine from University College London.
Between my degrees, I completed a gap year working as a science mentor at a school in London, where I had the opportunity to support students in their scientific endeavors.
During this time, I taught GCSE science and maths, as well as A-level Physics. This experience allowed me to engage with students at different academic levels, providing tailored guidance to enhance their understanding of these subjects.
My huge passion for teaching stems from my want to help other people. I provided voluntary physics tutoring during lockdown as I wanted to help someone who found it difficult learning from online lessons. I loved this experience and have been tutoring ever since.
My lessons are focussed around the student. Students come with topics that they struggle with and we go through exam questions on the topic. I'll explain and go through examples of any concepts that I find the student struggles with whilst working through problems. I've found this to be the most efficient way of finding and filling gaps in students' knowledge, whilst preparing them for success in exams.
