As a passionate teacher, I do believe that physics and maths are accessible to everyone—they are simply the study of nature and anyone can learn them successfully.

I have taught physics and maths at both university and secondary school levels for over 20 years. I earned a PhD in chemical physics from the University of Nottingham and a PGCE in science with a physics specialism from the University of Cambridge and Homerton College.

My teaching experience includes working in various state and private secondary schools, and more recently, since the pandemic, as a private tutor delivering GCSE and A-level physics and maths using a various online platforms. Since the pandemic, I have taught over 5,000 hours of online one-to-one physics and maths lessons as a private tutor using various online platforms. Nearly all my students achieved or exceeded their goals, and my work is reflected in numerous positive reviews.

My approach is adaptable and tailored to individual students` requirements, as no two learners are exactly alike. The core components of my teaching method involve:
• Identifying obstacles that hinder student understanding and learning of specific topics
• Using real-life analogies, demonstrations, and computer simulations to clarify concepts (for example, comparing electric current to the movement of cars on roads)
• Applying learned knowledge to solve exam problems, as engaging with exam-style questions early on supports skill development and confidence
