Advert description
I am a Cambridge-educated tutor available to teach across multiple age groups and levels, with a focus on Humanities-related subjects. I am also happy to provide teaching services for students undertaking the International Baccalaureate.
I have over three years of experience in one-to-one teaching, where I will bring knowledge from university and academic research environments to our sessions. I hold an MPhil in Architecture and Urban Design from the University of Cambridge, where I was also a supervisor at St. John's College, Cambridge. I was previously a Visiting Lecturer in Architectural History and Theory at the University of Hertfordshire, and a Graduate Researcher at the University of Liverpool. I have also provided teaching services to prospective undergraduate and postgraduate applicants to Cambridge and Oxford.
My teaching approach is focused around your individual needs. I take a patient, empathetic approach to helping you achieve your goals; at the same time, I also aspire to help you develop longer-term critical thinking and personal development skills.
Though I am trained as an architect, I am also an avid writer. I am able to tutor in subjects including English, English Literature, History, Architecture, and Design.
