Maths tutor for children of all ages

I have a PhD in Mathematics Education and I have been tutoring for 1-1 and small groups for many years. I teach for understanding and I help students to discover mathematical knowledge by themsleves, using as a springboard their experience and prior knowledge. By teaching for understanding I encourage students to become independent thinkers and problem solvers.
