FUN AND ENGAGING ESL CLASSES AVAILABLE TO SUIT STUDENTS OF ALL LEVELS & AGES

Hi, my name is Guy and I'm an English language tutor from Cambridge, in the UK. I have been an English language tutor over the last 12 years, having qualified with a CELTA diploma in TEFL from International House, Bangkok back in 2011. I have gained an invaluable wealth of experience working at a number of English language academies, schools and training centres - tutoring corporate clients and foreign language students of all ages and levels, here in Bangkok and around Thailand. I've spent the last 14 years in Bangkok, with the exception of a few months spent in Singapore, and I have never looked back!

I have taught at three different IELTS test prep centres and now have around 3 years’ experience giving and preparing specialised IELTS lessons and using IELTS test-prep materials. I have had many interesting experiences here in Thailand and the Southeast Asian region, including Scuba diving, Parasailing, practising Muay Thai and enjoying general cultural discovery - having traveled a lot in the region and beyond. I have also worked and continue to work for a number of online teaching platforms, starting this journey in 2020 when COVID hit us, moving online to deliver my classes became paramount, as it was the only option for many of us during that difficult period. So during the past 3 years, I have garnered plenty of experience and expertise in online teaching. I can offer classes for all levels of English language, as I have a wealth of experience teaching all ages, but the majority of my students are adults and the courses I have most experience teaching have been geared towards adults - corporate English teaching, and business English, IELTS classes and general English conversation, in the main.

However, I enjoy teaching young learners and helping them to improve their English and thus their opportunities in the future. I have two young children myself, so I know how to engage with and stimulate kids in their education, especially when it comes to ESL learning. I always do my best to make the lessons as fun and engaging as possible and I think I do a pretty good job. I’ve recently relocated to the UK and I’m looking for more online work to add to my schedule (as well as physical teaching should the opportunity arise) Looking forward to hearing from you in the future.
