I am a friendly, motivated, Oxford-educated and CELTA-certified EFL tutor with experience working online and in-person.
My classes are always both varied and practical: teaching the students to apply their language in real, sophisticated contexts. I believe in creating an atmosphere where students, no matter their ability, are keen to contribute. My lessons blend a communicative approach with fun, creative tasks and effective grammar and functional language training. I have received consistent praise for my natural manner and empathetic approach.
As an Oxford graduate with a Bachelor's degree in French and German, I understand the labour that goes into developing your L2 language to the highest level. I also understand that you may have a specific, intensive exam to train for, such as IELTs or Cambridge English.
I have experience with children , young people, and adults, with abilities from A0 to C1. I am particularly suited to General English learners and students/applicants looking for EAP.
