Exploratory Drawing & Painting Classes for Key Stage 3 & 4, GCE, Adults with a Professional Artist

I’m a professional artist with an MA in Fine Art from UAL, and I bring my own experience of creative practice into my teaching. My approach to drawing and painting is open-ended and exploratory, encouraging you to experiment, follow your curiosity and develop your own visual language rather than focusing on getting things “right.” Alongside developing practical artistic skills, I place a particular emphasis on wellbeing and the therapeutic potential of art, creating a calm, supportive space where creativity can become a way of slowing down, expressing yourself and exploring ideas. You can expect thoughtful guidance, encouragement and plenty of room to work at your own pace, whether you’re looking to build confidence, develop your technique, explore your creativity or simply enjoy the process of making art.
