Enthusiastic Biology tutor for children aged 11-16

I’m offering friendly and supportive Biology tutoring for children ages 11 to 16, both online and locally around the Camberley/Frimley area.

I have achieved an integrated Masters degree in Biochemistry, and I worked as a Medical Writer for over two years before starting a family. As well as my current experience of working within an NHS diagnostic laboratory, I’m DBS checked and I have a genuine passion for science and helping people understand things that initially feel complicated or overwhelming.

My approach is relaxed and encouraging, with a focus on understanding the concepts rather than simply memorising them. I’m happy to adapt sessions to the individual student- whether they need help with one particular topic, ongoing weekly support, or some extra preparation before exams.

Sessions & pricing:

💻 Online: £30/hr
📍 Local face to face sessions: £35/hr + travel time

I’m currently offering sessions in the evenings and selected daytime slots, with availability to be arranged around the student’s needs.
