Biology or Neuroscience/Psychology Instructor for elementary-middle school students

I have a perfect 4.00/4.00 GPA at Stanford Online High School, where I attend as a student. I have taken Biology Honors and received an A and plan to take AP Biology starting August. I can teach year-long once a week, and I will be providing private lessons specifically about human health, cell biology, genetics and heredity, and cellular processes. My students may expect to both deepen and broaden their understanding of how the most fundamental units of life work and how they can apply this knowledge to the real world and take care of themselves and those around them in terms of health.

Since November 2022, I have provided 1-1 peer tutoring in biology to students, clarifying homework and textbook questions, explaining complex concepts, and assisting with exam preparation. Most importantly, I saw these students develop effective study techniques and fulfill the scores they aimed for.

Besides biology, I have taken an online psychology/neuroscience course from Yale University, and most of my lessons will be from what I've learned there. If the student would like to learn psychology over biology, they can expect to learn various techniques to cultivate joy and happiness as a teenager or young child growing up in this dynamic, ever-changing world. They will complete weekly exercises to explore their interests, true passions, hobbies, and what makes them happy. I will also teach about the brain, the mechanisms behind it, and how we can most effectively use our incredible brains to study further and prevent burn out, all while enjoying the process.
