English Language to children up to Secondary age. English as a Foreign Language ( ESOL)

I have a degree in Clinical Language Sciences. I worked for 21 years as a Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist. I am currently employed as an English and ESOL Tutor ((TEFL certified).I have been working for 7 years as a tutor.

I have a wealth of experience with children who have had communication, linguistic and phonetic developmental problems. I have skills and experience of working with children who have additional learning needs and have helped many achieve a GCSE in English when they kept failing it.

I enjoy working with other cultures and the diversity it brings. I have helped students study and prepare for their IELTS exams. Also, for foreign students who just need help in building confidence in their reading , writing and speaking skills.

I am a highly organised and professional person . My friends would describe me as easy going, friendly, fun and intelligent- yes I make it fun too !

My lessons are structured, but aslo flexible to meet the needs of learners.

I love engaging with all types of people and find great fullfilment in helping both adults and children meet their potential. Being proficient in the English language in all its forms, are crucial to function as a well rounded individuals in the future job market and to function well in society.
