Recorder / Piano / Bass / Music Theory Tutor, Online or In-Person, Based in Suffolk

I am an enthusiastic teacher (ATCL, DipABRSM) who believes that enjoyment is the most important element to learning any instrument. I have a very approachable style of teaching, encouraging the pupil to look beyond the notes and discover their passion for music. I am willing to work towards exams in a more structured approach if this is desired, and I have many years of experience with the ABRSM examination board and can offer a large amount of expertise in getting pupils ready for their music exams. Lessons are of course also available on a more casual basis for those wanting to begin a new hobby.

I am based in Suffolk and travel to my students, and I also offer online tuition. I have had over 14 years' experience working with a variety of different age groups, from 4 and up including adults, beginner to advanced, and at private and state schools all over Suffolk.
I currently have private pupils who have lessons all over Suffolk, as well as running two recorder ensembles who meet monthly. I am also part of a due of recorder and harpsichord who perform regularly in venues throughout Suffolk, and I also play in a local recorder orchestra who meet monthly and have annual concerts.
