I am an experienced Religious Education teacher and senior leader with over a decade of experience in secondary education in England. I currently work as an Assistant Headteacher with responsibility for teaching and learning. I am also involved in school governance and regularly engage with current research and professional developments in RE.
I offer specialist tutoring in GCSE and A Level Religious Studies, combining subject expertise with a deep understanding of how students learn, how examinations work and what makes a strong written response stand out.
My approach is encouraging, structured and highly personalised. I help students not only to memorise more, but to understand the subject, think critically and become increasingly confident and independent learners.
Whether a student needs help catching up, wants to build confidence in examination techniques, or is already achieving highly and wants to push towards the very top grade, I can adapt the sessions accordingly.
