In the past I have spent a week in a primary school reception class helping teach the children, so I have some experience in teaching. I have also helped with tutoring friends and family before providing me with more experience. I have three main ways of teaching. The first is a more interactive way, where we would have more of a conversation and I would ask a lot more questions. The second is more of lecture, where I would go through a PowerPoint and ask occasional questions. The third is more of a school like approach, where we would have a starter, followed by the content and then you would put that to practice by answering some questions. At the end of lessons there is an option to spend some time where you explain to me what you understand about the given topic as I believe teaching can really show your understanding of a subject. At the end of lessons there will also be some time for you to tell me what you think you need to focus on moving forwards or any changes I can make to lesson plans to further suit your education style, we will also discuss what you would like me to cover in the next lesson. My lessons are completely personalised and can cover whatever content you need to learn for your specific exams. My lessons are also goal-focussed so we can work on improving the skills you feel like you need. In lessons I can also provide homework help if you’re struggling with homework.
