Friendly and dedicated English tutor with experience supporting Reception, KS1, KS2, and KS3 pupils in reading, writing, spelling, grammar, and comprehension. I currently work in a primary school, where I support both mainstream and SEN learners, including secondary-aged SEN students. This has given me strong experience in adapting lessons to suit individual needs, learning styles, and abilities, ensuring every child can make progress at their own pace. I focus on building confidence alongside academic skills, creating a supportive and encouraging learning environment. I hold a degree in Sociology with Criminology, which helps me understand different backgrounds and learning behaviours. My approach is patient, flexible, and tailored to each learner, whether they need help catching up, consolidating key skills, or stretching further.
