Experienced KS1 teaching Assistant | Sen Specialist

About Me – Experienced Teaching Assistant & Specialist Tutor

I am a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant with over 7 years of experience supporting children’s learning and development, including children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and additional learning needs. I am currently studying towards my Level 5 Specialist Teaching Assistant qualification and hold a qualification as an Early Years SENCO.

I specialise in Colourful Semantics and providing tailored 1:1 support to help children develop their skills and confidence in English, Maths, reading and communication. I have experience supporting children with additional learning needs, including AEL (Additional English Language) learners and multilingual children, adapting my teaching approach to suit each child’s individual needs and learning style.

As a fluent speaker of English, Urdu and Punjabi, I can support children from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds, helping them feel comfortable, understood and confident in their learning journey.

My approach is patient, friendly, professional and encouraging. I believe every child has the potential to succeed when given the right support, understanding and opportunities. I aim to create a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment where children feel valued, motivated and proud of their achievements.

My goal is to make learning enjoyable, build confidence and help every child reach their full potential at their own pace.
