For me there are 3 important aspects to tutoring, and that is 1. Producing and finding relevant and tailored maths resources for the sessions, that really target the student's needs. 2. is delivering high-quality sessions, and typically It will be me going through a couple of examples, and then getting them to have a go, guiding them through questions as necessary until they have a full understanding, and can answer questions completely independently, ready to move onto another topic. 3. Is my work outside of sessions, which has consisted in the past of me setting homework, marking any homework, revision questions or past papers that students have, and then giving detailed feedback on the work they have done.
