Professional Musician teachers Voice and Guitar

Advert description
As a musician, my journey began at the age of 16 when I discovered my passion for singing, guitar and songwriting, building upon a foundation in violin since the age of 5. My formal education in music at university (most notably my peers) inspired my career, initially as a solo artist and later as a member of various function bands. Alongside this, I've delved into session vocal work and have been involved in the development of three original projects (my truest passion). With a commitment to honing my craft, I perform regularly, averaging three gigs per week year-round, while dedicating spare moments to my musical endeavours.

My dedication to vocal excellence extends beyond performance. I am an avid student of voice, continuously exploring new information and practicing religiously for hours each day. Guided by a multitude of teachers throughout my journey, I remain committed to ongoing education, always seeking to elevate my skills.

As a fervent believer in the pursuit of excellence, I am deeply invested in sharing my knowledge and experience with aspiring musicians. Learning music is not easy, and I certainly had many struggles along the way. Often, I needed to be told that it was okay to make mistakes, and indeed it was, you have to be a fool before a master. My active engagement as a professional musician positions me to guide students through the practical aspects of continual improvement and the demands of the industry. With professionalism, dedication, and a lifelong commitment to musical excellence, I strive to inspire confidence and foster growth in every student I teach.

Luke is simply amazing! When I went for my first lesson, I was unconfident with my voice and felt self conscious singing in front of others - I knew that my pitching was okay but the sound of my own voice made me question if I could sing. After just 3 lessons with Luke, I am miles more confident and feel comfortable singing in front of others - In addition to boosting my confidence, Luke has provided invaluable technical guidance during our lessons. He has taught me how to control my vowel shapes for better resonance and tone production! I would highly recommend!
