I teach through observation, demonstration and practical guidance, helping students develop strong drawing skills, confidence and creative thinking. Lessons are tailored to each student’s ability, interests and goals, whether they are looking to improve their observational drawing, develop GCSE or A-level work, strengthen a portfolio, prepare for university applications, or simply become more confident and expressive in their art. As a professional exhibiting artist with over 20 years’ experience and a First\-Class Illustration degree, I bring practical insight from a working creative career alongside my experience teaching Art and Photography. I encourage students to experiment, ask questions and develop their own visual voice, while giving clear, constructive guidance on technique, ideas and presentation. My aim is to make art challenging, enjoyable and achievable, helping each student recognise their strengths and discover what they are capable of achieving.
