I would begin by assessing the student's current level of proficiency in French through conversation and written exercises. Based on this, create a structured lesson plan that covers areas where the student needs improvement. This will involve breaking down the lesson plan into manageable sections, focusing on grammar, vocabulary, speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills. I aim to provide clear explanations of French grammar rules in English in order to ensure understanding, as well as of French pronunciation and vocabulary. To engage the student, interactive exercises such as the use of online resources, games, or flashcards will be used to ensure learning is fun and interactive.
