I am a native English speaker with advanced writing skills with extensive mentoring experience

I am enthusiastic to help learners retain and expand their knowledge of the English language to new heights. I have a first class undergraduate degree in History and will shortly obtain a masters degree in International Relations. I have a strong academic background which has resulted in my advanced capability to utilise the English language to its most sophisticated levels with confidence.

I have a mentoring background with my three year long experience supporting undergraduate students at university in developing and improving their writing skills. In addition, for almost two years, I trained and mentored emergency healthcare call operators in the U.K. I thoroughly enjoyed planning lessons and was very satisfied seeing new recruits master their new craft.

English is not some language that has to be purely learned for business and academic reasons (although those are good reasons to learn it). English has a rich and vibrant heritage with a plethora of work that readers of English have cherished for centuries. In particular, I enjoy reading Shakespeare as well as modern works from the last century.

I am excited to help students of English develop and expand their language skills, enabling them to fully embrace all that the language has to offer. Whether for business, literature, or personal enrichment.
