Helping the Next Generation of Creatives Find Their Vision

As a professional photographer with over 30 years of industry experience, I am passionate about helping the next generation of creative students develop their skills, confidence, and artistic vision. I trained as a photographer by assisting leading professionals in London, Paris, and New York within the fashion industry, before establishing my own career in portrait photography, working both on location and in studio environments.

Throughout my career, I have worked across editorial magazines and advertising agencies, gaining extensive experience in commercial, editorial, and portrait photography. As a tutor, I can offer students real-world industry knowledge, practical technical skills, creative guidance, and insight into building a successful career in photography.

Photography has been a lifelong passion, and I believe in nurturing creativity while encouraging students to develop their own unique style and voice. I continue to work as a photographer today, keeping my knowledge current and relevant. I also hold a drone licence, which has opened up exciting new creative possibilities and perspectives—what I like to call my "giant tripod in the sky."

My goal as a tutor is to inspire, support, and mentor young creatives, helping them build both the technical foundations and the confidence needed to pursue their ambitions in photography and the wider creative industries.
