Top Maths Tutor with over six years of tutoring experience and a 100% pass rate

I am extremely passionate about maths, so I find immense joy in teaching maths. Particularly in giving students the confidence to engage with maths. It's also really rewarding to see that growth reflected in my students' grades.

I have been teaching all levels of Maths and Further Maths privately for six years. I have worked with students across the ability spectrum, from those aiming to secure a pass to those striving for all the marks. I also prepare students for private and grammar school entrance exams. All of my tutees have achieved a pass and I have seen many students go on to achieve results well beyond the grades they originally thought were possible.

I have just finished my Master's in Mathematics at the University of Bristol, receiving First Class Honours and a final weighted grade of 77%.

Outside of tutoring, I'm currently working with my supervisor to publish my master's thesis on quantum computing in a top-tier journal by this September. Because my research hours are flexible, I have plenty of capacity to take on new students at short notice.

In the future, I plan on doing a PhD in Quantum Computing. In particular, I am drawn to developing Quantum Algorithms.

Since each person's learning style is unique, I like to keep open communication about how I can adapt the sessions to get the best out of each student.

Often, to start out, the most important aspect of my sessions is providing all my students with the confidence to engage in Maths.

I endeavour to explain things in multiple ways so my tutees can develop a strong intuition and deep understanding of each mathematical concept.

I sometimes use methods not necessarily taught in school, which massively simplify problems and still receive full marks.

I mainly teach online sessions over Teams, but I am happy to do in-person sessions in or around Cheltenham or Belsize Park.

Typically, each session lasts an hour, but I also do some longer sessions focused on full past papers so that we have enough time to go through the answers during the same session.

I am DBS certified.

In my A-Levels, I achieved full A*'s in Maths, Further Maths and Spanish. And for my GCSEs, I obtained two 7s, two 8s and eight 9s (equivalent to two A and ten A* grades).
