I teach GCSE & A-Level Maths and Further Maths.

I teach each tailored session over Teams and use Lucid for the shared whiteboard. I try to explain things in a few different ways so my tutees can develop a strong intuition for the mathematical concepts. I use methods not necessarily taught in school but that massively simplify problems and still full marks. Typically each session lasts an hour but I am open to doing longer sessions.

I really enjoy maths tutoring because I feel I can add a lot to my students. I used to hate maths. However, over lockdown, I looked ahead and fell in love with the subject so I can certainly still relate to those who don't have it as their favourite thing. I am always looking for new tutees since mine quickly get good enough that they no longer need me! I have references from previous tutees on my maths tutoring instagram account @maths_with_sammy but can get more from my current tutees if required.
