I have a bachelor’s degree in education and linguistics (the science of language), followed by a PGCE qualification (a teaching qualification that is required to teach in an international school). As well as the above, I have over four years of teaching experience in Asia and just recently came back from Thailand, after working in an international school, teaching GCSE English to the aged 11-16 years old. To put it simply, I have worked with a diverse range of students, with all different abilities – bespoke lessons to meet individual learning goals.

We educators use a term known as learner-centred education, which is based on the idea that students learn more efficiently when ideas are shared, enabling them to relate an idea or concept in their unique way. My teaching ethos is grounded in this approach, which has been proven effective through my teaching experience.
