An avid mathematician that loves to explain and introduce maths to kids from Year 4 to Y11

I pride myself on my communication skills and trying to get someone to understand the framework behind a concept or a process before so they can apply it later. I have experience with volunteer tutoring year 5s for their 11+ which encompassed not only maths and grammar but also other concepts that I had never seen. I looked at the content before the lessons to ensure that I could teach it as effectively as possible. I tried to plan my lessons with some flexibility so the child could actually learn instead of just simply go through content.
