A-level Maths Tutor ready to teach online

Hi my name is Vasudev. I’m an engineering student at the University of Glasgow and I’ve recently finished my A-Level qualification in Mathematics. Going into engineering means my mathematics skills have been honed for more specific situations that become applicable to real life situations. This principle is therefore used in my teaching method where I target the real-life application for a topic should there be a connection. I find that to achieve high grades, building connections to different scenarios is important as it gives you a toolbox of skills to use when introduced to a question that might not be of the regular. To make sure we can practice these skills I do assign questions but only to make sure that there is a strong foundation for us to build on. Studying for my A-levels I have an extensive knowledge in how OCR A and AQA grades their students so I can happily guide you to identify how to get the higher marks. I’ve also worked at Code Ninjas for almost 2 years, teaching kids how to code and even underwent an internship at iCode for almost a year. Working at these institutions helped me understand ways of tackling students as not everyone is the same; skill sets are different in everyone and as a tutor it is my responsibility to use your strengths to push you to greatness.
