I am George and I am a soon to be university student. In all subjects I am willing to teach I received A*s at A level or 9’s at GCSE. Lessons are suited to the individual and their wants - whether it be an aim to achieve a certain grade, help with consolidating exam content or wanting to understand how to answer questions and what examiners look for. I specialise in AQA GCSE history and Pearson A level history in courses concerning 20th century history, but can also help with AQA GCSE English language and AQA GCSE economics. Officially I have tutored GCSE students on foundation level maths and GCSE English language but I have also informally tutored peers in A level history. I have no official teaching qualifications, but have a deep understanding of specific curriculums and exam boards. Lessons will consist of understanding what content the student knows and then testing it through real exam papers - targeting how to answer specific questions and teaching “go-to” formulas to tackle trickier questions. Depending on the course, I can provide students with pre-made revision resources and am willing to create new ones tailored to the students course - included in the rate.
