Experienced and dedicated Maths tutor! Friendly University student teaching KS3/GCSE maths online

Hi there!

I’m Scott and I’m here to provide you with personalised online one-on-one tutoring sessions for GCSE maths, with sessions ranging from 1 - 4 hours long.

My sessions are flexible to your schedule, including outside of regular business hours and even weekends!

Typically, I will start by taking some basic information from you about your current grades, goals and time frame leading up to your exams. Depending on the situation we may also go through some past papers together to establish weak topics and areas to focus on in our sessions together.

I will provide you with comprehensive lessons tailored to your needs, with proven exam strategies and top tips from a grade 9 student myself that I used in my own exams to succeed.

I am a current student at Birkbeck University of London, I have A-levels in Further Maths, Maths and Business studies, and achieved a grade 9 in my own GCSE maths studies. Additionally I achieved a grade 5 in foundation statistics as an optional 10th GCSE that I studied for in my own time only.

I have been teaching maths since I was 16 years old when I started running a voluntary maths class after school for year 10 and 11 students, with great success. Since then I have tutored many maths students both in person and online, even in schools for which I have an Enhanced DBS certificate.

Typically sessions are held on Google meet (but can be changed on request), I’ll have my camera on and my screen shared with my iPad display projected onto my screen so you can easily see my writing.

I am knowledgeable and experienced in teaching content from OCR, Edexcel and AQA exam boards, as well as the iGCSE curriculums. No matter what level you are working at or what topics you struggle with, I’m your guy for GCSE maths.
