I love to teach because I love to watch people succeed. I would ask about the area they're struggling with and we will form a plan together to tackle it. I like to use mixture of techniques ranging from games to silent work because that's what makes lessons memorable. This also helps the student find out what works best for them so we can optimise their results. Especially maths when it can seem very mundane I found that when helping the kids who didn't do their homework it was not because they're unable to do the work it was because they found it too boring.
