Advert description
Hi! I’m Sally , a multidisciplinary artist, illustrator and designer based in the UK, with a Fine Art background and years of professional creative practice.
My lessons are structured like university art teaching: solid foundations first, then confidence and personal style. Whether you’re a complete beginner, returning to drawing, or preparing for GCSE/A-Level or a portfolio, I’ll help you build real skills through clear, practical exercises and supportive feedback.
What we can work on (tailored to your goals):
• Observational drawing: proportion, measurement, accuracy
• Form, perspective and composition (so drawings feel solid and intentional)
• Line quality, shading and tone: light/shadow, texture, depth
• Different approaches and styles: realistic drawing, expressive sketching, stylised illustration
• Confidence-building drills: gesture drawing, timed studies, contour drawing, master studies
• Personal style development: finding what you like, what you’re good at, and how to grow it
• Portfolio support: project planning, refining work, presentation and guidance
My teaching style is friendly and encouraging, but not vague , I’ll explain the “why,” show you how to practice, and give you simple exercises to improve between sessions. The aim is for you to leave each lesson knowing exactly what to work on next.
Available for 1:1 lessons (online or in-person depending on location).
Message me with your level, age (if for a child/teen), and your goals, and I’ll suggest a simple starting plan.
