I have a postgraduate diploma in Education and training, now, I am studying master in education, I studied business and management and law. I used to teach business at college. As I am studying my master, want something a bit flexible like working from home that is why I have applied for this job.
I have a good keyboard skills working as volunteer at Bright Women organisation, doing the
administration work with the computer and have the ability to work under pressure and to agreed
deadlines and targets; which I have done several times even with my assignment work as a student.
Happy to work on own initiative and as part of a team for example in Bright Women Organisation by
sharing tasks to be done with respect and consideration, by ensuring that everybody is involved in
different activities and ensuring that everybody in the team is happy and well treated.
A self-motivated person able to manage my own time over a wide range of tasks as I have always done
with my administration work in dealing with many tasks at the same time in order of priority.
An easy going person who can embrace the idea of change and promote a positive image by bringing
new ideas, motivating those that were not motivated, by encouraging employees to work hard and to a
high standard.
I have a previous administration experience which involved storing documents, printing, photocopying,
welcoming customers professionally and politely, using the computer Microsoft packages Word, Power
point, Excel and Internet Explorer.
I have good verbal and written communication skills as I was writing letters, sending emails, receiving
letter and emails and responding to them in an appropriate manner. I have a good telephone manner
as I always have to answer and make different phone calls to different partners, funders, collaborators
with the ability to communicate well with both internal and external customers, effectively handling
difficult situations.
Sensitive to customers, accurately recording their need and acting promptly to resolve their issues
by always listening to them and responsive by acting promptly to resolve their needs and requests. I
demonstrated these skills during my time with the British Red Cross where I was dealing with different
customers as a sale assistant as I understood in my marketing study that customer is king and always
right.
