Hi, I’m Samira, a primary school teacher helping kids succeed in their learning journey. I can teach ages 5-15 year olds Maths and English. Support KS1, KS2, KS3 and KS4 in Maths and English. I have worked as a one to one learning support assistant with special needs children providing good quality support in their learning journey. I have previous experience working as a Tutor for maths and English. I am a qualified teacher with PGCE in primary education. I have worked as a maths teacher in a secondary school with KS3 & KS4 children. I am passionate about teaching children and developing their skills in Maths and English. Seeing children achieve in their learning motivates me in my role as a teacher. A typical tutoring lesson would begin with an overview of the lesson, a review of prior knowledge concepts. Introduction of new concepts with use of examples and explanations, followed by practice and application. Modelling answers using I do strategy, then we do and you do. Lots of practice and learning based on key points of the concept. Towards the end of the session would be a summary of the key points and setting goals for further learning.
