Advert description
Currently, I serve as a Computing Lecturer at Oxford International Group, where I teach a diverse group of international foundation-year students. My responsibilities include delivering subject content through active learning strategies, supporting students’ academic progression, participating in programme quality assurance activities, and mentoring students as a Personal Tutor. I take pride in cultivating an engaging and inclusive learning atmosphere, ensuring that each student receives a personalised and effective educational experience.
My previous roles—as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Bradford and a Student Support Worker through Randstad Education—have deepened my understanding of varied learner needs, especially in accessible education. I have taught a wide range of modules including Object-Oriented Programming, Software Engineering, Big Data Analytics, Database Management, and Artificial Intelligence. My academic journey, culminating in an MPhil in Computer Science, has equipped me with a robust theoretical foundation and an ongoing passion for research, evident from my publications in ontology-based systems for healthcare and enterprise information systems.
What sets me apart is my ability to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and real-world application, particularly in digital learning environments. I am well-versed in using virtual teaching tools like Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and VLE platforms. Moreover, my recent CPD certifications in Artificial Intelligence and Ethical AI reflect my commitment to continuous professional development.
