Maths tutor providing lessons to primary school children

I am a qualified primary school teacher with a BA (Hons) in Primary Education with QTS and experience teaching and supporting primary-aged children in their learning. I have experience explaining mathematical concepts, adapting lessons to suit different abilities and helping children develop their understanding through clear explanations and practical activities. I understand the primary maths curriculum and the skills children need to progress confidently, including preparation for SATs. My tutoring approach is patient, encouraging and tailored to each child’s individual needs, helping them overcome difficulties, strengthen their mathematical knowledge and build confidence. I am passionate about making maths enjoyable and accessible, ensuring every child feels supported and motivated to achieve their full potential.
