I am bubbly and charismatic. I will differentiate my lessons to children’s needs and levels.

Firstly based on working in a mainstream primary school as a TA required me to work 1-1 with students, facilitating small group work and working alongside the class teacher in delivery of whole class lessons. As with most primary schools the class has pupils with additional needs and, as a TA, I worked with these students to ensure they can access the curriculum, have differentiated materials and resources, and assist in planning their next steps. Working in different year groups within the school has allowed me to appreciate different teaching styles and techniques . I worked closely with a child who has dyscalculia; therefore, during activities, I would use concrete maths materials and visual prompts as well as technology to scaffold learning . I work in lines with the curriculum. Since doing this it has allowed me to broaden my knowledge and give me an insight into my own personal abilities and attitudes. I have been able to develop personal skills such as communication, teamwork and problem-solving.
