I have experience in teaching ranging from early beginners to advanced business. Many of my students are successful businessmen who speak English well but with a foreign accent but who wish to minimise their accent. Most of them have signed up for ongoing classes and are enjoying being able to converse more fluently and reducing their accent.
My teaching style is relaxed and fun but extremely effective.

Phil in a nutshell

In almost all lessons we utilise Daily News articles with both myself and the student reading, in this way learners can benefit from listening and also have me correct their grammar, vocabulary and perhaps most importantly, their pronunciation.
Having some fun and making each lesson enjoyable is a fundamental part of my method.
