I am a dedicated and results-driven Secondary Science Teacher with experience delivering AQA Biology, Chemistry and Physics across KS3 and KS4. I am passionate about making science accessible, engaging and achievable for all learners, and I consistently plan high-quality, differentiated lessons that build confidence as well as subject knowledge.
One of my key strengths is my ability to support students with Special Educational Needs. I have significant experience adapting resources, scaffolding learning, and using targeted questioning and structured routines to ensure SEN students can access the curriculum successfully. I create a calm, inclusive classroom environment where students feel safe, supported and understood. My approach focuses on breaking down complex scientific concepts into manageable steps, using visual aids, practical activities and clear modelling to maximise progress.
I use assessment data effectively to identify gaps, personalise support and raise attainment, particularly for students who require additional intervention. I am patient, adaptable and highly attuned to individual learning needs, ensuring every student has the opportunity to succeed.
