🧑‍🏫 My Communicative Methodology for Teaching Spanish
1. I create an immersive environment
From the very first moment, I speak in Spanish—greetings, instructions, and visuals are all in the target language. I use gestures and images to support comprehension and help my students start thinking directly in Spanish, without translating from their native language.
2. I prioritize communicative activities
My lessons focus on real-life interaction: role plays, games, conversations, and group projects. Grammar is present, but it’s not the core. My goal is for students to express themselves naturally and confidently.
3. I teach vocabulary in context
New words are introduced through everyday situations and visual examples that connect with my students’ reality. This way, vocabulary becomes meaningful and is remembered more easily.
4. I encourage thinking in Spanish
I guide my students to build and express ideas directly in Spanish. Mistakes are corrected gently, prioritizing fluency and confidence over perfection. I want the language to be a living, useful tool—not an intimidating obstacle.
