I focus in getting things right and dispelling some of the misconceptions around certain areas language and pronunciation

I have a 2:1 degree in Spanish studies, have lived in Spain for 10 years and have taught Spanish to both private students and school students. I like to mix up: reading, writing, speaking and listening. I encourage the use of learning apps and the use of things like sub titles on films. I ask questions in Spanish and the students can answer in either Spanish or English - depending upon their confidence. I encourage my students to use this format, in reverse, on me. I like to include as much as possible the cultural information, which, I feel is a vital part of the learning process. My lessons are relaxed and have a certain (appropriate and not over done) element of humour.
