I will teach in a clear, patient and engaging way, adapting my approach to suit each child’s individual needs, ability and learning style. I will begin by checking what the child already knows before introducing new learning in small, manageable steps. I will use clear explanations, modelling, questioning and practical activities to support understanding and keep the child engaged. I will encourage children to ask questions and give them time to think and respond. I will provide positive feedback and reassurance to build confidence, while identifying any areas where they may need additional support. I will regularly check understanding throughout the lesson and adapt my teaching where necessary. My aim is to create a positive, safe and supportive learning environment where every child feels comfortable, included and motivated to learn.
