PE, Sports Studies, Sports Science and Sports Injuries Tutor - Plus EPQ Supervisor and UCAS Personal Statement Advisor

Advert description
I have a PE teaching degree from Sheffield 1991; undertaken two Master's degrees (both in Exercise Physiology); taught and lectured in ALL aspects of Sports Science - as Lead Tutor and Moderator in HNDs and Fdn Degrees in Sports Science, Sports Coaching and Sports Injuries (having written the Course content for each Module in A&P, Exercise Physiology, Sports Psychology, Exercise Physiology, Management and Rehabilitation of Sports Injuries) - in Colleges and Universities.
A former GCSE and A' Level PE and Sports Studies Examiner and Moderator for Edexcel, OCR and AQA, I have many years of experience of "getting to know" how to answer questions at each level.
A former Assistant National Event Coach - Combined Events for GB Juniors coaching a number of athletes to Schools, Junior and Senior International vests in a number of Events.
I have also been to be part of the GB (U.20 & U.16) Rugby League and England U.19s Rugby Union squads as coach in SAQ and advisor for Strength & Conditioning.
I have also acted as Physio to the England Commonwealth (Combined Events [C-E]) Team, GB Juniors (C-E), the Lawn Tennis Association (North-West of England) and a number of Rugby Union Clubs (combined with S&C)
I can help students prepare for examinations from SATs to GCSE, A' Level and undergraduate degree level in any aspect of Sport and PE.
My knowledge of Anatomy & Physiology and Exercise Physiology has enabled me to help 1st-year undergraduate Medical and Physiotherapy students gain a clearer and simpler view of the human body.
I am extremely patient with students, will find a new way of helping them understand a topic or subject matter if my first method does not quite "hit-the-mark"!
I have helped year 12-students progress through their EPQ submissions - each has passed with high grades and been instrumental (their parents words being paraphrased!) in their sons/daughters getting on to their chosen University Courses by giving help and advice for their Personal Statement [NOT writing it for them!]
If given the opportunity to help any student, I will empower them to "find" answers/solutions for themselves by asking "why is that, what does that do and how can we use/apply that knowledge" - I won't be there when they take their exams so if they have an established approach on understanding what the question is asking they will succeed.
