Advert description
I’m an English specialist and education professional with five years’ university teaching experience and recent work in UK secondary schools as a Cover Supervisor, so my lessons are designed to be calm, structured and genuinely supportive of each learner’s progress.
In sessions with me, you can expect a clear format: we begin with a short “starter” activity to check understanding and build confidence, then move into focused work on your goals – whether that’s grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, essay writing, speaking or exam skills. I break tasks into manageable steps, model examples, and use questions to help you think for yourself rather than just listen passively.
My experience as a Lecturer and Senior Lecturer in Bangladesh means I am comfortable teaching large groups and individuals with very different levels of English and confidence, including learners who are studying English as an additional language. I have designed interactive activities such as debates, poster presentations, drama tasks and TV commercial projects to help students develop both language and critical thinking, and I adapt these ideas for one‑to‑one or small‑group tutoring.
Lessons with me are collaborative: I give clear explanations and feedback, but I also listen carefully to what you find difficult and adjust the pace and focus accordingly. My aim is that you leave each session feeling more confident, more independent, and better able to tackle English tasks on your own.
