Physics tutor currently doing an astrophysics PhD

I offer engaging lessons between 45-60 minutes per session. This will include teaching using interactive slide shows. Each lesson will begin with a review activity followed by new content, and then a summary activity. The content to be covered and pace of the lessons will be discussed at the start of the first lesson, so you and I can set an attainable goal. I will provide useful exam tips and revision tips which will help prepare for GCSEs and A Level exams. I can also provide guidance on university life and applications - particularly for physics/STEM degrees.

I will provide plenty of study tips and methods which will help you attain the grades you aim for. These methods helped me obtain 10 A*s in GCSE and A*A*A in A Levels, all while applying for universities in three different countries and completing numerous extra curricular activities such as MUN, student council and mountain climbing. Together with you, the student, I will help you design a study schedule for the months leading up to exams to ensure we are on track. Closer to the exam season, we will work through countless past papers and corrections, and develop skills to get those extra brownie points in the tougher questions. We will do timed past paper questions so that when the exams come, time limits will not stress you out.

Lessons will include content for exams but can include extra information which will interest the more enthusiastic, advanced student. I can provide up to 3 lessons a week per student, excluding Friday evenings, Saturday evenings and Sundays.
