French tutor providing adults with french lessons

Hello, my name is Natalie and I'm a bubbly, enthusiastic French teacher living in the UK with a wealth of linguistic and cultural knowledge I can impart upon my students.
I have a degree in French and PGCE in Foreign language teaching.
I am a huge fan of fitness training and sports as well as films, cooking and cinema.
I also have a love of animals and have a cat and two rabbits with whom I share my home.
I love learning languages myself and I also speak Italian in addition to French and English!
I lived and worked in France for three years both in Paris and Montpellier where I was a translator, project manager and later foreign language teacher of English :-)
My method focusing on maximising listening input, retrieval practice activities which recall work previously covered and lots of practice. I speak almost only in French during the lesson but clarify things in English if required. My cultural knowledge of France means I can share this with my students and thus give them a well rounded experience in terms of lessons. Language learning is about more than just words and grammar! I am very patient and encouraging having been a language learner myself and currently learning Italian online with my own tutor.I will often provide students with 'homework' or ways in which they can continue to practice French outside of the classroom! Lessons will work around students' needs and current level. It's all about you!
I encourage my students to ask questions and really get the most out of their lessons with me. I am flexible and will modify my teaching if the student wishes to focus on or talk about something in particular. I encourage students to make mistakes and ensure from lesson one that they feel 100% comfortable and supported, a low stress environment is key to being able to make effective progress in French :-)
