First-Class Oxford MPhys Physics Graduate | GCSE & A-Level Physics & Maths | ESAT & university admissions

I have recently graduated with a first-class MPhys in Physics from the University of Oxford. I offer lessons in maths, further maths and physics at A-level and GCSE, as well as mock interviews and ESAT preparation for university admissions.

An absolute nerd, I bring my love for my subject area to all my lessons. I have experience teaching students from primary school to GCSE and University applications, including ESAT preparation. Having achieved four A* s at A level and ten grade 9s at GCSE, I know exactly what exam boards are looking for. I’m very aware of the constant pressure to achieve and will help make my students’ exam preparation experiences as low-stress as possible. I am always happy to go deep into explaining the fundamentals of a topic or to stretch a student's understanding and problem-solving skills.

I firmly believe that maths and physics don’t deserve their reputations as boring and confusing subjects. Often they are taught in a way that overcomplicates or reduces them to rote memorisation, making them seem intimidating or dull. I strive to offer students lessons which focus on gaining a deep understanding of the concepts and building problem-solving skills. I aim to create a safe environment where students can say when they’re confused and make mistakes without feeling judged – this is all part of the learning process, and I am here to help!

I offer A-level and GCSE tutoring in physics and maths at £35 per hour, and admissions tutoring (ESAT preparation, personal statement workshops, mock interviews) at £45 per hour. I also offer a free 30-minute consultation, where we can discuss what you want to get from our lessons.
