Advert description
I’m an experienced tutor and Assistant Educational Psychologist with a strong background in widening participation, youth development, and evidence‑based learning support. I’ve delivered both 1:1 and group sessions across schools, charities and community settings, helping students build confidence, understand key concepts, and make meaningful progress.
My approach is relational, calm and personalised. I bring subjects to life by connecting curriculum content with real‑world examples, practical applications, and research‑informed strategies that help students genuinely understand how and why things work.
With a solid grounding in psychology, learning theory and educational research, I support learners to develop strong study habits, improve motivation, and overcome barriers to learning. I have experience working with students across primary, secondary and post‑16, including those preparing for GCSEs, A-Levels or needing structured support with organisation and focus.
Lessons are interactive, encouraging and tailored to each student’s needs - designed to build confidence, deepen understanding and make learning feel achievable.
