Enthusiastic and skilled English tutor with 20 years experience

I am an enthusiastic and dedicated PGCE qualified maths and English tutor with over 20 years experience of teaching a variety of primary and secondary school pupils (ages 4-16) to reach their potential.
I specialise in teaching English up to GCSE level and maths up to KS3 as well as preparing children for the 11 plus examinations.
I have also taught abroad in Ghana, Africa and in Cambodia. This has shaped my creative teaching career and inspired me to teach online to new pupils also.
I have been successful in raising attainment and achievement in schools through intervention and the pupils have progressed with increased confidence and capability.
My masters level credits during my PGCE have enabled me to understand educational pedagogy and teaching the child holistically. These Masters Credits also help me formulate and modify my sessions more effectively with clear objectives set out.
I fully believe that if students are enjoying their learning, they will achieve the best results.
