English Language for GCSE Students who need help

I offer GCSE English Language tuition aimed at helping students improve their confidence, understanding, and exam performance. Having achieved a grade 7 in GCSE English Language despite being predicted a grade 4, I understand the challenges students face and the strategies needed to improve effectively.

My lessons will be tailored to each student’s needs, focusing on the specific areas they find difficult, whether that’s reading comprehension, analysing language, or structuring strong responses. I will break down exam questions step by step and teach students how to approach them in a clear and manageable way.

I will also focus on exam techniques, including how to plan answers, use evidence effectively, and write in a way that meets mark scheme requirements. For the writing sections, I will help students develop ideas, improve sentence structure, and use a range of vocabulary and techniques to gain higher marks.

Lessons will be interactive and supportive, with practice questions, feedback, and guidance throughout. My goal is to help students build confidence, improve their skills, and reach their target grade through consistent practice and clear explanation.
